 Please review these policies carefully as they are the terms of sale that govern your purchase from Great Burial Reef®. They set out your rights and obligations with respect to your purchases, including limitations and exclusions, such as those in our product warranties. Your placement of an order with our company constitutes your agreement that these policies apply to the order, so be certain your understand them before you place your order with us. Hours of Operation Our Customer Support Center is available to you 24 hours per day, 7 days a week at (941) 548-6123. All of our contact information is listed on the "Contact" page on our website. If you wish to check the status of your Great Burial Reef® Store order at anytime, use the link provided in the email containing your order placement confirmation. Payment Methods Great Burial Reef® accepts Visa and MasterCard credit or debit card payments, personal checks, money orders, and wire transfers. When you provide your credit card information, we will immediately process a transaction under your debit or check card, and begin processing your order. You will be asked to provide the credit, debit, or check card security code for your card for any online order to protect against the unauthorized use of your card by other persons. The security code is either a 3 or 4 digit number imprinted on the back or face of your card. Sales Tax In addition to the price of your purchases, we may charge you sales tax based on your shipping address and the sales tax rate in effect at the time your order is billed. Our office is located in Manatee County, Florida, and the current sales tax rate is 6.5%. Please note that the purchase of most funeral goods and services are exempt from sales tax, and our online store will accurately reflect those exemptions for applicable products and services. Shipping Options We proudly ship our products using FedEx®. Ground shipping anywhere in the continental United States is free. We have negotiated special shipping rates to all U.S. locations. We offer Second Day Air Service and Next Day Air Service for urgent orders. Order Processing The estimated shipment date on your order is based on product availability, payment processing time, and our own internal shipping procedures, and does not include transit time to your shipping address. Orders are processed daily, and we ship via FedEx® during their published operational schedule. Product Pricing The prices for our products and services are posted on our website. While we endeavor to keep our pricing current, we reserve the right to change pricing without notice. If you place an order with us, you will be charged the current product price as posted on the website store page. Product Warranties Our products are designed to last for generations, and have been extensively tested for strength and durability for ocean, freshwater and land placement. Our Classic™ ocean reefs are approved for use by the Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission, the EPA, and the Army Corps of Engineers, and several other governmental agencies. We place Classic™ reefs in the ocean with reasonable effort to ensure they will not be affected by storms or maritime activities. Once the reef is correctly placed on the ocean floor, Great Burial Reef® will not be held responsible for any damage or destruction caused by acts of man, nature, or maritime activities. Our Living Urn™ is designed primarily for ocean placement, but is also suitable for freshwater and land placements. Great Burial Reef® will not be held liable or responsible for any damage or destruction caused by acts of man, nature, or maritime activities, nor will Great Burial Reef® be held liable in any way for Lviing Urns™ placed illegally or irresponsibly in freshwater or on land. Defective Items Our products are hand-cast from natural concrete and carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery to your doorstep. If the product you purchase becomes damaged through shipment, we will happily exchange it at our expense provided you return the damaged product to our warehouse. Return and Refund Policies Your absolute satisfaction is our goal and our guarantee. For Living Urn™, Mini™ and Heart Seal™ purchases, we will happily refund your purchase price less shipping for any items you purchase that are returned to our warehouse in their original condition and original packaging within a reasonable time from purchase. Classic™ reef purchases may be cancelled and refunded any time before your loved one's remains are sealed inside. Please call our Customer Care Center if you wish to discuss a return or refund. Classic™ Reef Ocean Placement Services Classic™ Reef ocean placements are completed in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. Ocean placements are irreversible and final. We will confirm the service date in advance. We reserve the right to postpone or reschedule an ocean burial in the event of inclement weather or other operational issues. You will be notified immediately if the sea burial date changes, and every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate your response. Optional Family Participation Services You or a family designate are not required to witness the ocean placement of your Classic™ reef. If you do not participate, your burial will be performed from the port of call of your choosing or, in Sarasota, FL if you have not indicated a preference at a time of our choosing, but always within 30 business days of receiving your loved one's cremated remains. Upon completion of your ocean placement, we will mail you a Certificate of Living Coral Reef Burial detailing the date, time, depth, and precise GPS coordinates of your loved one's reef. Living Urn™ Placement Guidelines There are laws and customs related to ocean, freshwater and land placement of cremation vessels such as the Living Urn™. The information provided on this website is to assist you in the proper and legal placement of a Living Urn™ if you choose to do so yourself. You should consult the laws of your area before proceeding. Nothing obtained in this website should be misconstrued to be a grant of permission or authority from Great Burial Reef*#174; to place a Living Urn™ at a location which would be in violation of any local, state or federal laws, or which would violate the rights of any person or entity. If you choose to place your Living Urn™, you do so at your own risk and may be held responsible for all violations of any applicable law. Great Burial Reef ® will not be held responsible for any violations or losses suffered due to improper or illegal placement of a Living Urn™. Other Terms & Conditions Great Burial Reef® is not responsible for typographical errors. We reserve the right to cancel any order you have placed if there was a typographical error on the Great Burial Reef® store concerning the pricing or availability of any item that you ordered when you placed your order. We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions of sale at any time. We may make changes to any products or services offered through our company or to the applicable prices for any such products or services, at any time, without notice. We reserve the right to do any of the following, at any time, without notice: (1) to modify, suspend or terminate operation of or access to the Great Burial Reef® Store, or to any portion of the store, for any reason; (2) to modify or change the store, or any portion of the store, and any applicable policies or terms; and (3) to interrupt the operation of the Great Burial Reef® Store, as necessary, to perform routine or non-routine maintenance, error correction, or other changes.To the extent possible by law, all sales at the Great Burial Reef® Store are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and Manatee County, without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions.
